"I was a customer with another insurance company for both my home and auto. I had not received a renewal quote for my auto insurance, and my home insurance was paid through my escrow account on my home mortgage. My bank received the renewal request and paid the home insurance premium timely, but I noticed my auto insurance was late by 4 days, and it was cancelled. When I called my old company, to find out why they cancelled my auto insurance without contacting me, they said that they had sent the renewal to me and it should have arrived on the due date. It did in fact arrive the day after the due date. They were willing to process the renewal retroactive to the due date, but it would take them another two days. I decided to call State Farm and Megan Bailey answered the phone. She worked with me to write a policy that took care of all my concerns including increasing some coverage and reflecting my 21-year-old granddaughter as a primary driver on my policy. Megan also provided me with home insurance with updated coverage and gave me a bundling discount on both auto and home. The cost of covering my expanded auto insurance was $57 less than I was paying before and with upgraded home insurance my additional yearly premium for home was only $20 more. Most importantly to me, Megan explained exactly what I was covered for on both policies. She also assisted my daughter with her auto insurance coverage with State Farm by explaining an issue my daughter had with her policy and getting it to the right person to address. Megan was able to do this before I even heard back from my original insurer. Both me and my daughter are very impressed with the competence and customer service we received with Megan Bailey.
